At-Risk Behaviors
Often clients resist care and have at-risk behaviors for multiple reasons such as: fear of costs, fear of strangers in the home, mental health or cognitive instability, and denial of care needs.
The goal of training caregivers, family members and other providers using a behavioral model in response to at-risk behaviors is to prevent negative behavior through specific training techniques and to focus on stability and positive potential.
